Hello,
KDE Connect works as intended as it does let me browse the files and folders on my Android phone; but ... as I have my iNuc (Kubuntu 18.04) and my laptop (KDE Neon 1804-based) both in the list; they don't show active; only mentioned in the list. Maybe I got it all wrong; both can browse my single Android phone but for example browsing files and folders via KDE Connect from my iNuc onto my laptop, does not work, Nor does vice versa... It would be nice if I could browse the iNucs files and folders via my laptop and vice versa... In the System Settings, kdeconnect settings there's no option mentioned like: "Remote files and folders showing" .... Is that a wishful thinking (future) feature? Or should it work between the 3 devices? Thanks for your input guys! Found on: https://nicolasfella.wordpress.com/2018 ... nceptions/ Just read on this site that 'pairing 2 desktops' should work as well; part of my question is answered, except for the fact that it does not function in my setup: Pair Desktop to Desktop You can not only pair a phone with your desktop device, you can also pair a desktop with another desktop. It isn’t as powerful as connecting a phone with a desktop, but you can still do useful things like sharing files and links. We are looking to extending the capabilities. The same also works for two android devices. |
