I have a desktop (wired) and a laptop (wireless) which I want to be able to use either one as the master (KRDC).
The problem I have is that whenever I try to connect, all I get is a blank blue screen.
Something I've noticed is that the Desktop address is 10.101.0.18:**** and the laptop is 192.168.0.75:****. I recently set all devices a fixed IP address and then had to perform a hard reset of the router (SKY) and for some strange reason the laptop IP has stayed as a fixed IP, could that be a cause of the problem.

I have tried connecting via LAN and DSL and neither work. Also, I do not get a password request and what name do I insert in front of the address?

Both machines are running Kubuntu 16.04 and KRFB V5 KRDC 16.04.3
