TLDR: inconsistent WiFi, password prompt keeps popping up and not connecting even if password is correct, only a few times it manages to connect.

Hi I know that this has been asked many times on many other forums and following the solutions mentioned on there do not work.
So the main issue is that I am not able to connect to my home 2.4 Ghz wifi consistantly. Sometimes it connects and when it does not connect, it wont connect at all even after you do a reboot, a cold boot...
I am using antergos (This happens on all distros with KDE)
ISSUE: After entering the password for the WiFi access point, it tries to connect, fails and the prompt pops up again.
this is the output of command dmesg after clicking on connect during a failure:

Both done on home network

I have also did the usual "Allow all users to connect", "Automatically connect" setting in the network manager, stored the password unencrypted for all users in the KDEwallet, disabled the KDE wallet completely. Reinstalled the OS...
I am using a Thinkpad x230 with the network card that came with it but I don't think that that is the problem because when it is working, it works really good.
I am able to connect to school wifi just fine and those are access points, but no go with home(Infrastructure) wifi...

Please help. It is getting quite annoying. Still looking for a solution. Thanks in advance. o)
