I'm having a weird issue all of a sudden on my KDE Neon. If I connect to a my wifi network for the first time, it shows up in the list with the correct name, it connects and it works just fine.

If I reboot or detach\reattach the wifi dongle, it discovers the networks except if I connected before, the network shows up as

NetworkName (wlx00MACADDRESS)
and it doesn't autoconnect because the name is different, as it shows up with the wlx00 part in parentheses.

In the connections manager, the wifi network shows up with the usual NetworkName without the parentheses part. If I delete the connections and rediscover the network, it shows up again without the additional part, but again, after a reboot or a detach\reattach of the dongle, it shows up again with the additional part in parentheses and doesn't autoconnect because the name is different.

I hope I explained this in an understandable way. Is this some kind of bug or am I overlooking something?
