Ethernet doesn't work after latest upgrade kernel a few days ago from 5.0.x to 5.3.x
My network card is:
Code: Select all
Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 0c)
and driver is:
Code: Select all
driver: r8169
version:
firmware-version: rtl8168g-2_0.0.1 02/06/13
expansion-rom-version:
bus-info: 0000:01:00.0
supports-statistics: yes
supports-test: no
supports-eeprom-access: no
supports-register-dump: yes
supports-priv-flags: no
How can I workaround meanwhile wait for a fix?

I don't think this is a KDE or Plasma issue, more like a kernel problem.

You should ask your distribution about this.

FWIW: exact Plasma version and distribution is always helpful information when asking questions in this forum...

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
