How can I get a more recent kdeconnect?

The version I get by typing sudo apt-get install kdeconnect (or kdeconnect-plasma) looks like it's older than the version I see people using in youtube videos. It is conspicuously missing the most of the plugins, including the one I need "clipboard". I can't see from the community wiki or the github page how one is supposed to find or install plugins either.

Are there up to data binaries somewhere or am I going to have to try and build it from source? OR have I got the correct version and am just ignorant of how plugins are found and installed?

A tad more information about your distribution and Plasma version could be useful here...

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
