Hi everyone,

I'm running my laptop on a broadband connection and using it at home as a wireless hotspot. In my network configuration I have my wired connection, then I have set up a shared wireless connection. I want the connection password protected, but in order to connect to it on my laptop (the same computer), I have to remove the password, then connect, then set up the password each time! Once I've done this, then I can connect to my laptop wirelessly with other devices and access the Internet. If I don't remove the password before connecting on my laptop, KDE reports that "No secrets were provided." I'm not even given a chance to provide a secret.

Surely there's a way of connecting to this wireless connection without these password issues on the actual computer that's running the connection!

Moved this to the Internet & Network section as it is not Neon specific.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
