Which exact Global Plasma Theme and Color scheme do you use?
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Many thanks for your early reply.
Since it is a fresh install, it is by default. Global plasma theme = Kubuntu. Colours scheme = Breeze. Best regards P.S. I am not much familiar with KDE. |

This appears to specific to the Kubuntu Global Theme, and obviously a bug. I will report it to them. In the meantime I suggest you use the Breeze Global Theme instead, there shouldn't be any disruptions.

This also occurs if you don't use the Kubuntu theme, but select Breeze dark for plasma and ANY light colour scheme for apps.
So this is a general KDE bug in how this part of the GUI is colour theming it's buttons. i.e. it should respect the apps colour scheme. |

For example if you combine a random dark plasma theme from store.kde.org with the oxygen colour scheme for apps, you get this.....

This has already been reported as a bug:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=418416#c7 This fix was not applied to Plasma 5.18 as it technically introduces a new dependency (kirigami). Since kirigami is required by large portions or the rest of plasma and some apps, it may be acceptable to backport this fix as a distro applied patch for Kubuntu. I will have to make enquiries. |
