The above message comes up each time I start Firefox, but it won't register when I accept - i.e. the message keeps coming up, no matter what I do. I've fiddled with the .mozilla folder under Home and I think it has something to do with one of the ini files. Can anyone help me sort this out? It's driving me nuts!

Cheers,

M.

Not exactly a solution, but I did the following:

In the address bar type "about:config" and press Enter.
In the Filter field search for "browser.shell.checkDefaultBrowser".
Double-click on the entry to change its value to False
Close the about:config window.

In my case Firefox is the default browser, but it's not being recognised as such upon startup.
