Why do you try to build something if there are packages available in your distribution? Especially if you try to build the current git version on top of an older Qt version you are pretty much bound to run into problems. Did you check the build instructions e.g. the requirements in the README file?
FWIW: you need to give the actual error messages of the output (the Qt version being the problem is just a guess, but Ubuntu 20.04 IS too old for current git), your output only gives a summary but no indication of what went wrong
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
