I have been attempting to use kdeconnectsms with something other than the stock android messaging app...in this case, Signal. I am able to receive notifications on the Plasma desktop when a new SMS is received by Signal, however, I am unable to view any of my Signal messages through the kdeconnect sms widget. Messages are displayed, but they are old messages from the stock android messaging app.

I have tried deleting data and config files on both my phone and desktop, reinstalling kdeconnect, etc. I have not had any success getting this to work.

Is what I am attempting even possible with kdeconnect?

I confirm the issue. Despite I don't know if is a security feature or a real problem.
