i am running kubuntu 20.04, and logging (via krdc / vnc) to a macOS host. this connection seems to have an odd keymapping. pressing [alt] translates to [meta], and pressing [meta] stays as [meta]. i cannot actually press [alt] on the remote computer.

is there a way to change this behavior, to remove the translation layer, or manually change the mapping?
