Hello, everyone.
Faced the problem of running kde-connect on mac os Catalina 10.15.7. I downloaded the latest release of the app (1.4-494) from https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/kdec ... ase_macos/ , moved kde-indicator.app into /Applications, and tried to run it, but nothing happened. Decided to build it myself. Installed Craft, built the app according to the official guide, but nothing again. Then opened the app as a folder, went to Contents/MacOS, and started running each exec(app) consistently. As a result, I've found out that the problem was the inability to load several libs. (Look at the screenshots, please) I don't understand why they can't be loaded if they are in the library (Frameworks) folder. Please advise me some solution. I have a running version of KDEConnect on 10.15.7
Mine was also downloaded from the Binary Factory. I was only successful after trying a number of different builds until one finally "stuck". Unfortunately, I can't see any way of determining what my current build is. Issue: The icon for KDEConnect does not appear in the menu bar, regardless of whether I use Dark, Light or Auto theme. However, hovering and right-clicking above where it should be, results in the menu appearing. Question: Does anybody have a suggestion for how to make the icon behave properly? |
