Howdy folks.
I am having difficulty understanding the Konsole output neochat is giving when it crashes. I have already tried talking to OpenMandriva developers about this and no one seems to know why this crash is happening. Maybe someone here can help me. Note: This matrix account works just fine in Element. First this is my OS:
This is the code from Konsole:
I think this might be telling me what is wrong but I still don't understand what exacly:
Don't understand what is forbidden or what is disabled. To me this seems like neochat is getting some incorrect or old information about my account. I have created another account but I do not see where or how to get the old account out of neochat. I will provide what ever info or tests I am able. If I posted this in the wrong place I apologize but I guessed at that. If I need to file a bug report I can do that too. But hoping this is something simple or obvious that I am not seeing.

I found the files to delete to remove the old account in /home/<uname>/.local/share/KDE and /home/<uname>/.cache/KDE. And with the new account neochat does not segfault.
Apologies for creating noise here. But perhaps writing here helped me to work through this issue. Any issue solves, neochat not segfaulting now. Does not answer why neochat started rejecting my other account. Unless it was because I engaged in an encrypted chat with someone. Neochat did not like that. |
