Um, to begin with I see this possible issue with Neochat where it posts incessant messages in Linux journal. The same thing repeated over and over to such an extent that this completely takes over the journal log. This seems excessive to me but perhaps there is some purpose to this?

Issue occurs in operating system OpenMandriva versions Cooker, Rolling, and OM Lx 4.3.

Is this output useful for anything? Does it really need to repeat as often as it does, seems like every second. I looked for a bug report about this at https://bugs.kde.org but do not see one.

The next question is where to file a bug report against Neochat? I do not see it in this list: https://bugs.kde.org/enter_bug.cgi

To reproduce the issue in OpenMandriva Lx simply use Neochat for 10 minutes then open journal in Konsole and notice the output. It would be useful to know if this occurs in other Linux distros.

Yes it is KDE software, and you really should report issues on the issues tracker: https://invent.kde.org/network/neochat/-/issues The link can be found easily with a search on the web

FWIW: some newer projects use the issue tracker on invent.kde.org only, but those are the exceptions for now.
