How to transfer Folder and APK from Android to Android. Thanks |

And how is this related to this forum?
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

As long as both devices are in the same network (eg WLAN) you can use KDEConnect:
https://kdeconnect.kde.org/ https://f-droid.org/packages/org.kde.kdeconnect_tp/ Not sure if folders are fully supported yet but you could zip them before sending...

1. I dont know where to present such question, so I placed it here. In that case show me where to post. Thanks. 2. So, it it not possible to send ENTIRE FOLDER and APKs from Android to Android with the help of KDE Connect like the other sharing apks. How is that. KDE is full with so many features and not having these facilities. Thanks all |

Well#1, KDE Connect DOES send APKs from android to android. Just tried it and it works (Fun fact: sharing APKs by other means like BlueTooth is generally blocked by android, and IOS wouldn't let you send anything by BT at all.) Well#2, KDE means (Kool or whatever) Desktop Environment. Providing functionality that google so obviously forgot is not really the focus of KDE And it shouldn't be, just as Mamarok implied it is slightly off topic. However, copying/moving folders does work nicely from PC within Dolphin as you can access folders on the phone. But, yes, the functionality to transfer entire directories (with android's sharing) would be nice and handy. Not an easy task though, I think (how to accommodate for different file systems, for example)... Hence the workaround to zip it first. You could also check back with devs at KDE Connect and ask there... PS: Let me know if you find some good sharing app, I'd be interested, too So far I use syncthing and SMB/CIFS-folders for such transfers...

You should try MiXplorer: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/app-2-2-mixplorer-v6-x-released-fully-featured-file-manager.1523691/ Very powerful file-and-everything-else-manager, THE swiss pocket knife on your phone: Does networking, shows your apps (also sharing them)... just awesome! I often used it to backup all apps on a brandnew phone (before putting LOS on it)...
