Hi,

Any one managed to get KDE connect and VPN-type android firewall working together on Android 12 or later?

I've been using KDE Connect for quite a while on Android 9 phone running NoRoot firewall (https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... s.firewall) - a firewall utilizing android VPN API to intercept and filter traffic. All was well until I switched to a new Android 12 phone, and now KDE Connect app cannot connect to PC while this firewall is running. KDE Connect of course is granted full access. I tried several other firewalls of this type, but results were unsatisfactory. As far as I can tell the issue affects only the establishing of the connection - if I disable the firewall, connect and the re-enable it, connection remains on, and in some way related to IPv6 which is weird because network is IPv4-only. Googling yields only advice on how to set up linux-side firewall, nothing about android.
