Network speed too slow

Thu Jan 05, 2023 3:30 pm
Hello, everyone,

I'm not sure if I'm in the right place, but my network is very slow.
My motherboard is a Gigabyte XB3270QB and in the pci system settings I get a Ltd. RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express displayed.

ip addr:

1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 65536 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN group default qlen 1000
link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00
inet 127.0.0.1/8 scope host lo

inet6 ::1/128 scope host

2: enp4s0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc fq_codel state UP group default qlen 1000

inet6 fe80::7cca:4d73:e825:82ca/64 scope link noprefix route

It's a 1GiB interface, but
ethtool enp4s0:

Why do I only have 100Mb/s ??

Curiously, the network card shuts down when entering the following command:

sudo ethtool -s enp4s0 speed 1000 duplex full autoneg on

After entering:
sudo ethtool -s enp4s0 speed 100 duplex full autoneg on

it runs again but only with 100 Mb/s

driver problem? Can someone help me please ??
Greetings flipp
