KNewsTicker source code

Sun Dec 14, 2008 11:39 am
Hi everyone,

can you please tell me where I'm able to find the KNewsTicker source code? I've been googling and looking up and down the SVN trunk, but I couldn't find anything.

Thank you!

No, I'm searching for the KDE 3.x-Version which can be integrated into the Kicker task bar (see for instance http://packages.debian.org/lenny/knewsticker ). Any ideas? Thanks in advance! Chef22

It wouldn't be in trunk, that's for sure. It would be somewhere in branches.

It's also worth mentioning for anyone who comes accross this page in google, and is as confused as I was, that in KDE 3.5, the knewsticker is part of the KDE Network module, so if you install the module, you get the applet, whether you build it from source or install a binary version (I'm currently using Slax 6.1.1, which takes binary packages from Slackware 12.2 That was my solution.)
