            case Solid::Control::NetworkInterface::Serial:
                hasDsl = true;


Looks like Solid might not be detecting your DSL. This is the only place I see that turns it on or off ( just a quick grep of files ). Going to have to dig deeper to figure out what Solid is looking for. Sorry I'm not much help. Considered talking with one of the developers or filing a bug.

Thanks, I can connect by ifup but can not connect by networkmanager.
