Hi there,

I'm using Konqueror 4.2.00 and I can't move bookmarks at all. Whenever I drag and drop a bookmark in the bookmark editor, it's copied instead of moved. I've found this bug, but I don't know whether this is still related.

Can anybody confirm this behaviour?

TIA,
Blackhole

You know what? *lol* Just before I saw your entry, I discovered by accident that if you press the SHIFT key while droping a bookmark the action will change from copy to move.

How stupid is that? If I hadn't pressed shift by accident, I would have never known. This is so anti-intuitive. Why make copy the standard action anyway? NOBODY wants to keep duplicates of bookmarks. What's the purpose? Whenever I go to the bookmark editor, I want to rearrange/reorganize my bookmarks and that involves moving them. So the default action should be move like in any other browser out there. ;-)

Never mind, I know the trick with the SHIFT-key now and I really start to like Konqueror. Especially the fonts are much better and cripser than in Firefox!

One annoying problem less.. Bye, bye Windows XP, Linux Desktop here I come...
