greetings,
next chapter in the ongoing saga of kopete and webcam functionality:
finally got the cam recognized under preferences, but there seems to be no option in the chat windows anymore for choosing to offer or to accept webcam.
sys opensuse 11.1
kde 4.2.00
kopete 0.70.0 rel100
any hints? ... thanks, theo

What protocol do you use? For msn, the steps are described in the kopete manual. I guess yahoo should workthe same way, but I use none of these protocols, so I never tested it myself.

Webcam support appears to be currently being changed in Trunk, to seperate V4L1 and V4L2.

..and for YM? How do I do that? It really sucks when I can shove off winblows fanboy regarding this matter.

I'm also running KDE 4.2.2 openSuSE 11.1 and can set the cam up in Devices just fine. But when chatting the option to invite to view cam does nothing. The invite never goes out and the cam window never starts. This is true on MSN and YM both. The recipient of the invite never receives the invitation and I never receive their invitation. aMSN works just fine for MSN, no issues.

I am running 64bit if that makes any difference.
