Hi there,
I'm using Konqueror 4.2.00 on my Arch Linux machine.

Today I wanted to login to the openSUSE Forum (http://forums.opensuse.org) by clicking on "register/login" in the upper right corner of the forum website.

Then nothing happened. A minute later I got a Konqueror Error page telling me:

Code: Select all

The requested operation could not be completed
Connection to Server Refused
Details of the Request:

The server forums.opensuse.org refused to allow this computer to make a connection.

However I can login to the website via Firefox and I can login via https/ssl to other websites on Konqueror as well. The "test" button on the OpenSSL tab in Konqueror Crypto Settings also tell me, that OpenSLL was successfully loaded.

Does anybody know what the problem might be here?

I can only tell that it's working on konqueror 4.2.64 (SVN).

Ah, OK. Well then I will stick to Firefox for now and wait. There seem to be too many little things about Konqueror that don't work yet.
I will revisit Konqueror after a few patches.
