KDE 3.5. If I create a new Konqueror service menu then it shows up in the Actions list for local files and that's fine. However it does not show up in the actions list for files that are being browsed via the sftp:// kioslave. Can anyone tell me how to make it show up for files that are being browsed via the sftp:// kioslave?

I'm thinking that there must be something somewhere that controls what service menus are available when using sftp:// because some service menus, including 'Set As Background' for image files and 'Send with Bluetooth' are available. (This despite the fact that 'Set As Background' doesn't actually work over sftp://) I cannot see anything in the .desktop files for those service menus which would influence this though.

Ideally I would like to make the service menu show up only when using sftp:// but first I need to get the bloody thing to show up when using sftp://

Via Google I've found mention of something called X-KDE-Protocol but it;'s not at all clear whether that actually does anything for service menus. I've also seen mentions of setting ServiceTypes to various protocols but only a couple of vague examples and no proper documentation and experimentation hasn't resulted in anything useful.
