To the point... is there any way to change the resolution of the webcam in Kopete?

More info... I have a Sony Vaio with the Motion Eye webcam. The only way I have to make this camera work in Ubuntu 8.10+ is the driver from http://bitbucket.org/ahixon/r5u87x/. The only resolution for this driver is 640x480. I need to tell Kopete that the resolution of the webcam is 640x480 to get a clear image.
