In Konqueror when i click to a link in my mail with a .pps file it opens a dialog box with the options : Save as - Open with "Openoffice.org Presentations" - Cancel
I choose "Openoffice.org Presentations" and it opens the file with Writer !!


With firefox i dont have this problem, it opens the file with impress

Please ensure the appropriate command is entered in System Settings > Advanced > File Associations.

It seems that everything is fine, the command is to open the impress
i tried to add manualy to open with impress but in the file associations it doesnt take any modifications in .pps files !

i ve just seen in my screenshots that it reads the filename with ???????????????.pps because is in greek characters
May be konqueror cannot read this encoding (in firefox works fine)
i have to find another .pps file to try

i tried another pps froma a site and it works

It appears that you are running KDE 4.0. If possible, could you please upgrade to KDE 4.2, and retest then file a bug if it persists? Thanks in advance.

ok, i will test it agai when after update to kde 4.2
actualy i'm running kde 4.1.3

finaly the problem is always with pps files inside gmail
