[SOLVED] releasing fish://

Sat Mar 14, 2009 11:45 am
How do I "log out" after using fish -KIO slave in Konqueror. Logging out of kde worked, but that is quite cumbersome.

How does it work anyway: do I stay continually logged in to server or does Konqueror automatically log in and out whenever I open or exit a folder in the server.

I have never tried, since I use SFTP instead. Knowing how KIO works, it likely logs in and out for each folder view / file retrieval. However it could also remain running until you close the connection in Konqueror ( close tab or close Konqueror )

From the FAQ in the source directory (kdebase/runtime/kioslave/fish/FAQ)

[quote=FAQ]
Q: The connection stays open. How do I disconnect?
A: Just wait. The system default idle timeout is used.
(about a minute or so)
