I have been testing the British Library's Beta Search and Konqueror counts 213 images every new screen; however, the BL staff tell me they only send 40-50 which is also the figure that comes up on another browser.

Any thoughts? Different way of counting? Images not being cached from previous screen? Miscommunication between Konqueror and BL server?

Any advice on how to set up a trace to record communications between Konqueror and the BL server to try and identify what is going on?

NB The number of images counted with other sites appears to reflect what appears but the number from the BL site always appeared to be too many compared with what appeared before they told me it was 40-50.

It is possible that Konqueror is including other elements of their website, such as banners, side bars, etc. in the counts of images, which other browsers ignore.
