Kontact And kmail work fine except! I can not stop new mail being delivered into the delete mail box notinbox any ideas please

Check whether you have a filter which automatically deletes mail and matches all mails.

Alternatively check your receiving accounts' settings whether their target folder is set to the trash folder.
