Wireless on GNOME but not in KDE

Fri May 08, 2009 2:09 am
Hi I am using ubuntu(linux for that matter) for the first time in my life. I installed KDE but my wireless is not working in KDE.

Any help regarding this will be highly appreciated.

If you need more information to solve this, please ask me what is the additional information you need, also tell me how can i get that information.

Thanks

Which version off Kubuntu are you using? You should be able to connect using the supplied network management tool ( although KNetworkManager doesn't always work ). You can always try using Wicd, or the GNOME network management applet in KDE, which both do work reliably.
