Konqueror passwords by domain

Thu Jun 18, 2009 6:33 pm
Hi,

At work i login to multiple servers during the course of the day - but all the servers are connected to the same backend corporate database so i use the same userid and password across all the sites.

Can i get konqueror to remember passwords by domain name rather than individual addresses. With the current setup, when i change my password, i have to update it for a bunch of sites under konqueror.

Thanks
suppandi.

Is this for HTTP ( Web browsing ) or SMB ( Windows networking )?
If you are using HTTP then it is probably not possible since it remembers the username and password by the page url, and it probably doesn't support RegExp's.

For SMB you can set a username / password pair to initially try in System Settings.
