I'm currently using Konqueror version 4.2.90 (4.3 Beta 2) and my google search bar disappeared and not because of the update, because I updated a while ago and it just happened disappeared today. I can't find the Location Bar in the items for the toolbars.
I've also been trying to add the 'open with firefox' item to my main toolbar. After closing Konqueror and opening it again it isn't there on the main toolbar, but when I configure my toolbars I do see it under the list for the main toolbar items. Any solutions to these bugs in konqueror?

This will reset most of your Konqueror configuration, including your toolbars.

Well I deleted all of the configuration, no luck though. Was this an update or something to remove that search bar?
I actually remembered that I had saved a copy of my kde configuration files from a while ago. I copied them over the now blank ones. The search bar isn't there, even though at the time I made a backup of the configuration files it was there. Should I try reinstalling konqueror?

Reinstalling should not be needed. Do you have the full set of toolbar items under a new user?

Uh.. well I only have one user. I don't know what you mean.
Well I just got my search bar back! I performed an upgrade and saw it in the packages being kept back. Thanks for your help though.
