Hi all,
I miss the Networkmanagers capabilities from KDE3 where I could configure what the Manager should do before, and after it brings up or down the WLAN. Or what else can I do with my configuration if I run the PC sometimes on a wired and sometimes on a wireless connection on the _same_ LAN. On wireless it's essential to bring down 'eth0' before 'wlan0' connects otherwise I get 'no route to hosts' errors, I mean, I can reach the internet, but not one box in my LAN.
Cheers,
Steff

Currently Network Management is still under development and has not yet been released as even a beta. You may wish to try Wicd, which has support for custom scripts to be run before and after interfaces are brought up and down.

8) Looks like a GTK app. Well, but that cures the problem! Thank you very much for the hint! Cheers.
