Install Network Management plasmoid

Fri Aug 07, 2009 3:14 pm
Hello,
I have compiled and installed Network Management plasmoid (svn1007929) with NetworkManager 0.7.1 but all it shows is a message: "Network Management is changing! It is highly unstable and may crash your desktop. Until further notice, please use KDE 4 network manager instead."

The thing is that I have found that this package is planed to appear in Debian repositories (with same svn revision). Is there any way to make it work in KDE 4.3? Should use an older revision? Have I done anything wrong?

Cheers

That message is from the developers of Network Manager, wstephenson and sebas. Currently the Network Management plasmoid is being refactored, and is currently unstable.

Please use "knetworkmanager" at this time ( which is KDE 4 based )
