Will jingle library (for audio conversation wia XMPP) will be supported with kopete on KDE 4 ?

0.12 is kopete for KDE4, I think that it was tested previously and abandoned before. I'd love to see this feature too, but first I'd need to find a good microphone.

It will be at some point. Work was started on it as part of a Google Summer of Code project but that work hasn't been merged into a release yet. When we do release it, I'm sure it'll be all over the news.

Any progress here? Any news about Jingle support in Kopete? As both Pidgin and Empathy suppport it, it sure would be nice to offer something similar.

Work is still in progress. Jingle is a moving target as a specification and has not been finalized, so the support that is available is still experimental.
