If you go to System Settings > Advanced > Services Manager, you should see "KDED Cookie Jar Module" present in the list of on-demand services. If it is not present, please ensure it is installed, or run KBuildSycoca4.

Can you please use DrKonqi to generate a backtrace of the crash and post it here?

when i write drkonqi in run it shows it in the list (like it knows what drkonqi is). when i hit enter the run window closes and nothing else happens
in konsole drkonqi / whereis drkonqi / which drkonqi behave like drkonqi does not exist by now i installed back akonadi and tried rm -rf ~/.kde4. it did not solve the issue |

Unfortunately, without further information as to which module is causing KDED to crash this problem cannot be corrected. You will need to find a method of attaching gdb to kded before it crashes, or getting DrKonqi to generate a backtrace for it.

issue solved
there was an issue that caused dbus to not start at system startup. all stuff that depended on dbus did not work either (amazing that allmost all the rest of the desktop worked perfectly though) |
