Hi there,
I am running KDE 4.3 on fedora11 and I need proxy support. I have no trouble setting up Firefox' proxy, but when it comes to a system wide KDE proxy (so that I could use Konqueror or other browsers), I have had no luck yet. There is very little information out there about this issue. So far I have been able to set-up proxy inside System Settings -> Network Settings, but the "Authorization" section cannot be moved from "Prompt as needed". Needless to say, I am NOT prompted as needed. Any help or pointers to where I can seek help are greatly appreciated. |

Looks like it's not finished yet, if it's not letting you choose it as an option...

I completely agree. For me, a lack of a proxy may end up being a show-stopper.

Has this issue been reported at bugs.kde.org? If it has not ( which I doubt ) please report it.
