If someone is logged as me, then he would already have too much information. In several forums this feature is labeled as "annoying". I don't know how it is done by Gnome team. ¿Is it less secured? Perhaps it should be an option at the first run?

One can create a password less wallet.
Encryption of certain files or even whole filesystem is usually done as an extra layer of security, in case the storage media (e.g. disk) is accessed differently (e.g. inside another computer) where user login credentials are no longer an obstacle. Cheers, _

has anyone setup their ssh keys on OpenBSD before installing KDE4
I noticed that it was complaining about my .Xauthority not being there and tracked down ssh-keygen and these articles
first I found the following http://daemonforums.org/showthread.php?t=6526 gives the first command you'll need, but not everything unless you've done this before 100 times I found this on GitHub kinda nice, however not to specific https://git-scm.com/book/be/v2/Git-on-the-Server-Generating-Your-SSH-Public-Key this is a page that explains first what not to do then shows you how you can regenerate after screwing up, and you might need this http://newbsd.nowindows.net/wp/blog/2013/10/18/re-generate-ssh-host-keys-on-openbsd/ T h i s I s t h e p a g e y o u n e e d http://securit.se/2012/01/english-configure-ssh-high-security/ then go ahead and install kde4 please let me know if this works I'm still not sure it's the fix, and don't want to install KDE4 again before I know |
