Problem connecting

Tue Nov 03, 2009 3:42 am
I have a azio wireless card mod # AWN254 and for some reason it stopped allowing me to connect.I can see networks just fine but latching on I can't as it will not link up to my network.
I typed in mount earlier today and it worked for awhile but now it is not working at all..I see an act light which tells me it is recieving a signal from my network but no link light will come on at all..No idea what to try next as all drivers are up to date...Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated..
Thank-you
Joe...

Can you try re-creating the connection by removing it and re-adding it?

Does creating a new user and trying to connect work there?

Can you use a Live CD to verify that it is not a system wide configuration issue in your distribution installation?

Have you verified that you do not need to install anything additional such as Firmware for the card in use? Could you please supply the output of lspci and lsusb?

It's a pcmcia card.Wireless g..It was working fine going through 3 walls. Now it is going through 1 wall to an antenna and I can't connect to it at all.Seems strange as I use to be able to connect with ease but now nothing.KDE wallet is also slow to open as it will not open at all off a reboot as it once did...Not sure what is going on but it seems something is blocking my card from linking up as my other windows box with an interal **** card works fine with lots of signal...Go figure...lol...Also I need not to install firmware for the card..Just drivers which have been done

Unfortunately I have no further ideas as to the reason for this issue. I would recommend contacting your distribution for further assistance.
