SOCKS5 proxy support in kde?

Wed Nov 11, 2009 5:35 pm
I am trying to set up a socks5 proxy from my home to my laptop to forward http traffic over. Is there support in kde4/konqueror for this? Alternatively, is there any other easy-to-use software for setting up proxies? Thanks!

Unfortunately, it appears that KDE does not have support for SOCKS proxies at this time. However it does have support for HTTP proxies.
