I have two computers running the following:
Kubuntu hardy 8.04
KDE 3.5.10
Konqueror 3.5.10

One is an IBM laptop. The other is an IBM desktop.

The laptop has an "Archive Web Page" menu option under tools.
The desktop does not.

Does anyone know how to make my desktop have this same feature?

See http://www.nixish.com/images/konquerorToolsMenu00.html for visual.

On this post, (brainstorm.php#cat83), I saw the following:

In the "Extras"-menu you can create an archive of the Website.
With "Save as" you can store it without the images, external scripts, external stylesheets...

What is this "Extras"-menu"? I don't have and "Extras" menu, that I'm aware of.

Any insights appreciated.

Thanks,
Frank

You need to install the konq-plugins package.

I had a similar problem with KDE 3.5 on Ubuntu Karmic. I fixed it with "rm -rf ~/.kde3/share/apps/khtml/kpartplugins". Running "strace konqueror 2>&1 | grep webarchive" revealed the problem. Apparently the plugin library names had changed and some of the configuration files in that directory were referring to the old names. Rather than removing the directory one could instead update the configuration files with the correct names (e.g. "libwebarchiverplugin" instead of "webarchiverplugin").
