I have marked that in some sites mostly with phpbb3 forums i have to be reconnected in next visit (after 1 day)
In the same sites with firefox this does nt happens
And i tested every day from the work with firefox (from windows) and i am always connected. I come back home i open konqueror and i have to loggin. The other day i go to work i open firefox (in windows) and when i visit the same site i am connected

Is there an explanation ?

Seems to work fine here, maybe you have a manual cookie policy, only accept the current one but not all?

i used konqueror from another computeur and with the first view it works ok
so it is a configuration in the mine ? I see in theconfiguration dialog in the cookies tab i have the same settings. May be is another setting (eg java or javascript) ?

One difference is that in my computer i use kwallet and the other computer not

Check the cookie managment part of Konqueror's settings dialog.
Remove any rule for that domain and also manually remove any of its cookies.

This should at least force a new begin.

It is possible that KCookieJar is not able to shut down correctly, thus causing the cookie jar to be corrupted. Try removing the file you previously copied over outside a KDE session to see if it has any effect.

Code: Select all
rm -rf $(kde4-config --localprefix)/share/apps/kcookiejar
rm -f $(kde4-config --localprefix)/share/config/kcookiejar

I did it but unfortunately i am disconnected.

The same time i open konqueror from the other computer and i am connected !
how can we explain that?

http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/1164/konqcoo.jpg

the only difference i think is the kwallet, the cookie configuration is the same, and the cookie file is new (allready connected once)

also i see that the left konqueror says 4 visitors in the site and 0 members connected

The konqueror in the right says 7 visitors and 1 member connected

as i dont have the problem from other user i did a backup of .kde4/ so i have a new configuration. but i am disconnected again !!!
the only thing that i have taken from my backup folder is the akregator
In akregator i have a feed for first page of the site . I delete this feed and until now i am alwayes connected. It is possible that akregator fails my session ? May be the description of user agent? (the site is in joomla 1.15.15)

i will confirme again for the resolution of this (i realy hope that is solved !)
