I've just upgraded kopete from 0.12.x to 0.60.2. (ubuntu repositories)
very impressed.

to the moment got 2 questions:
1. how do i install new smiley pack? When i press "Manage" button, empty window is opened - there are "help", "defaults", "ok", "apply" and "cancel" buttons there, no more any content.

2. now on a single click in my contact list, new chat window is opened. But all i wanted is to rename contact! In my previous version i could do that with single click > F2. Is there a way to not open chat window on single click?

Regarding number 1, check in System Settings > Look & Feel > Appearance > Emoticons. Ensure that the Kopete configuration dialog is closed when you open the Appearance item. You should see a list of installed themes, along with "New Theme", "Get New Themes", "Install Theme File", "Remove Theme" on the left side, and what the emoticons look like on the right side.

For number 2 you should either set your KDE global preference to "Double Click" to open a file in System Settings ( Computer Administration > Keyboard & Mouse > Mouse ), or just right click on the contact in question.
