I'm running the latest dev. builds of Chrome and Kubuntu 9.10, and I noticed that flash ran noticeably slower in Chrome than in Konqueror (choppy vs not choppy). I ran "top" and noticed that whenever Chrome's flash plugin is being used Xorg cpu usage goes up to 40% and higher. It doesn't go above 10% in Konqueror (it usually sits around 8%).

Anyone else getting observing this? And what's up with always having to kill the nspluginviewer plugin (which eats up 20% of my cpu) for Konqueror after watching flash because it isn't terminated otherwise like it should be?

Doesn't happen for me anymore with the latest Chromium dev. builds. If you're using stable, I would use the dev. or nightly builds instead.
