I would like to start using kopete, but it unfortunately does not support the protocol that I really need for IM clients (xfire), that pidgin does. Is there some way that I can get libpurple protocols in kopete? Alternatively, is there some xfire plugin for kopete that I have thus far missed?

I do not know of any plans for Kopete to use libpurple at this time.
