I tried to connect today to a WiFi network with hidden SSID with knetworkmanager but for some reason, I couldnt.
I created a new connection, inserted the SSID manually and when I went to "Connect to other network..." and selected the connection that I just created nothing happened. I even tried to edit the file /etc/wpa_supplication.conf and change the "ap_scan" to 2 but it nothing changed. I'm using ArchLinux with KDE 4.3 and my system is updated. |

Too bad that noone knows how to solve this. :\
I forgot to mention it, but the Wi-Fi network that I tried to connect was eduroam from my university ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eduroam ). |

It appears that this may be a lacking of the KNetworkManager interface, since it will only show SSID's to connect to if they can be seen, but Hidden SSID's can't be....
Please file a bug report.
