Does anyone know of a way to sync or add the UbuntuOne service, with Kaddressbook, or Akonadi? I see some mention of it here: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu ... ubuntu-one

I really like having my contacts available "in the cloud", but not on some other service such as Gmail. With UbuntuOne, I can easily access them using Evolution. Having that same capability in KDE would be great.

Any thoughts?

Such a feature has not been released yet, but should be possible even short term provided some developer can be found who has enough time to maintain it.

One of the developers involved with KDE PIM and Akonadi wrote a proof-of-concept implementation shortly before the Cran Canaria Desktop Summit (summer 2009).
There might even be someone at Canonical/Ubuntu be working on that.
