Hi,

I'm new to kopete, added my icq account with these preferences:

-require authorization before someone can add you to their contact list (checked)
-hide ip (checked)

The rest is default unchecked. The problem is that I every now and then get notifications that someone (usually something in russian) has added me to their contact list. Is this a misguiding information message or has some spambot really added my user to its list? Since I've set require authorization it shouldnt be able to do that.

A quick piggyback question, does anyone know howto default chat window to a tabs? Ive found the option merging two chat windows into a tabbed one. But is it possible to have this done as default whenever more than 1 window is opened?

otherwise kopete seems great!

The notice from Kopete is that they are "trying" to add you. You need to view Service Messages and decline the request.
