In konqueror

I have selected "enter' as the keyboard shortcut for the action "go"

I would think that is also the analog to "follow link"

when I use find as you type and then press enter to follow the highlighted link konqueror crashes

is "go" the right action to use to follow links or is there a bug in konqueror?

I am using KDE 4.3.5 on Opensuse 11.2

Please update to KDE 4.4 as many bugs have been fixed in it.

If it still occurs, and a bug report does not exist, please file one.

To be honest I do not feel that safe about upgrading the entire KDE before it is fully tested and comes out in suse 11.3

I will think about making a system backup for safety reasons and then maybe give it a try or use kde 4.4 in a virtual machine

This and other types of crashes that I had in Plasma disappeared when using another user account.

However still I cannot find the keyboard shortcut to follow the link highlighted with find as you type.

Can anybody help me with that?

The Ctrl + F shortcut should enable the find as you type toolbar near the status bar.

I can confirm that this bug still exists in 4.4.4 (Debian squeeze).
