Hi all,
when I log into kde (4.4.0 kubuntu), the network manager doesn't start automatically. Rather, I have to do this manually, and moreover the usual icon in the system tray doesn't appear after starting, although connecting works fine then. I suspect this might be the result of my selecting "do not start knetworkmanager automatically" when asked in a popup dialog within a gnome session. There, I didn't want the kde networkmanager to interfere with gnome's, but apparantly this setting (no autostart) also affects kde session. Where can I turn it back on? Best, Zsaja |

Add the following in ~/.kde4/Autostart/knetworkmanager.sh
And make it executable.
KDE Sysadmin
